How does this work?

Step 1
Contact us to discuss your details and set actionable goals and expectations.

Step 2
We will work together to determine your ideal prizes from framed, signed jerseys to signed helmets to local product gift baskets. The campaign will be customized to your target audience. Prizes for both contributors and high performing raffle ticket sellers. We'll also collect all of the details we need to properly set up and market your organization.

Step 3
We will help you to obtain your raffle license with the State of Michigan. This application process takes 4-6 weeks once it's received by the state and it's required for every raffle. We continue to build out your campaign while the application is in process.

Step 4
Upon obtaining your license number from the State of Michigan, we will provide a custom printable / email flyer and landing page url where your audience can find information about your organization, prizes and purchase raffle tickets online. You will have full access to review ticket purchases in real-time. Your raffle will also be marketed through our BC Authentics social channels.

Step 5
We will provide your group with an event ad, website link and target sales numbers (set forth in step 1) to obtain your fundraising goals. If you're tracking how any raffle tickets are sold by individual, we will also provide you with the code format to track those sales per person.

Step 6
After the raffle sales period has completed, it's your option to draw the winners or we can do it on your behalf. These details must be pre-determined before you submit the application to the State of Michigan, and in this step we'll carry out the winner selection process.

Step 7
Winners may choose to pick up their prizes at your location, at our retail shop in Fowlerville or we can mail the prize at the winner's cost of $50, which includes a fully insured delivery.

What is the lead time I need to set up a raffle in the State of Michigan?
In the state of Michigan, non-profit organizations are required to obtain a license number for each raffle drawing they conduct from the Charitable Gaming Division. This process can take 4-6 weeks for approval.
BC Authentics works alongside that timeline to set up sales goals, generate a link to ticket sales, create marketing materials, and develop landing pages so the fundraising event can take place as soon as possible after that license number is approved and generated.
Will I be able to see raffle ticket sale numbers as they come in?
Yes, we utilize an online platform specifically built for non-profit raffles. You'll have full access to this and funds will be deposited electronically into your bank account.
Final payment to BC Authentics is required prior to prizes being submitted to winners. There's typically more than enough time to make these arrangements between the final day of the raffle sales and the day of the raffle drawing.
What type of prizes will I be raffling?
For starters, we have a huge selection of authentic memorabilia including framed, autographed jerseys, signed mini helmets and a variety of complementary items that can be added as secondary prizes or prizes for your fundraisees. We've also auctioned baskets from local businesses. It's really up to you and what we determine to be best for your target demographic.
What type of organizations do well with this program?
We work with non profit organizations such as schools, athletic departments, veterans organizations and everything in between. The best performing raffles have a balanced list of participants selling tickets compared to the monetary goal they set out to raise.
What does this cost?
There's a $500 setup fee of good faith which is reimbursed to you in the final invoice. The average customer keeps around 90% of the incoming funds after a 7% payment for our administrative services and cost of prizes.
The industry standard for fundraising programs is around 40% and we're proud to be able to deliver a service that benefits the organizations who partner with us time and time again at 90%.
